Editorial Policy

Every TADS book begins with a news story.

TADS exists to tell real-world stories as they unfold—not after the headlines fade, but while events are still developing. Our editorial process is built on one simple principle: The news is the foundation. Storytelling is the bridge.

What We Report
Every TADS story begins with publicly documented information.

This may include:

News reports
Court records and legal filings
Government documents
Official statements
Parliamentary proceedings
Press conferences
Public speeches
Photographs and videos
Social media posts from identifiable sources
Eyewitness accounts that have been publicly reported

Whenever possible, events are presented in chronological order.

Where Imagination Begins

Real life is full of moments that are never recorded.
No camera captures every conversation.
No reporter hears every word.
No document explains every silence.

To create a continuous reading experience, TADS may imagine scenes, dialogue, emotions or transitions that were never publicly documented. These creative elements are based on the known facts surrounding the event. They are not presented as historical records.

We Don't Change Facts

We never knowingly alter documented facts to improve a story.
If reliable new information changes our understanding of an event, we update the story rather than rewrite history.

Stories Continue

Unlike traditional books, TADS stories continue to evolve. Individual chapters may be revised, expanded or updated as the story develops. When this happens, the chapter will display that it has been updated.

There may never be a final chapter. Because real life rarely ends with The End.

Corrections

If we discover factual errors, we correct them. Where appropriate, significant corrections or updates may be noted within the story. Accuracy matters more than speed.

Multiple Perspectives

Many developing stories involve disagreement. Different participants, institutions and witnesses often describe the same event differently. Where credible perspectives differ, we aim to represent those differences fairly rather than force a single conclusion.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently. Stories are selected because they matter—not because they support a political party, ideology or commercial interest.

Our goal is to help readers understand events, not tell them what to think.

Our Promise

We believe facts explain what happened. Stories help us understand why it mattered. TADS exists to bring those two together.

These Are Developing Stories.
